Fisher Pathways (Pathways) owns and operates the
largest satellite communications teleport in the greater
Seattle area, with a redundant teleport in Portland, Oregon.
The transmission of news, corporate and sporting events is
facilitated through our network from nearly every major venue
in Seattle and Portland to the national and international
global satellite and fiber networks. Fisher Pathways currently
services customers from the broadcasting and cable industries
and corporate markets, including: ABC, CNN, ESPN, MSNBC, Fox
News, Tokyo Broadcasting System, and Microsoft.
Pathways also operates a fiber optic terminal and
video-switching hub with connectivity to the Level 3 Vyvx© national
fiber optic network for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint transmission of
audio
and video
signals. Pathways offers studio facilities for satellite
interviews and distance learning, and videotape playout capability from both our Seattle and
Portland facilities.
